In this IT Project Manager role, you will be part of our Enterprise Delivery teams. In Wickes, the primary purpose of a Project Manager role is to lead, oversee and ensure the successful delivery and management of single large, or multiple smaller, projects. This must be done within scope, to a certain quality, and within time and cost constraints. We are looking for candidates that have had first hand experience in implementing Order Management, Customer Management (Data or Case Management), Corporate Finance or Corporate Learning & Recruitment solutions.

The Role:
Proven experience of achieving successful outcomes through utilising Waterfall and Agile methodologies is essential.You’ll have first hand experience in vendor selection processes, including RFIs and RFPs. You’ll be responsible for executing and managing complex projects relating to third parties. Engaging cross-functional teams in end to end processes, to ensure projects are completed in line with timeframes, budget and scope. You will work with senior stakeholders and third parties to coordinate the delivery of innovative and effective technological solutions. Distinctive blend of business, IT, financial and communication skills required to build trusted relationships with a cross-section of Wickes stakeholders. Ability to develop and execute a project resource plan that ensures that the right people are in the right place doing the right things at the right time.
Does this sound like you?
As an experienced Senior IT Project Manager, you will be delivering in a Retail environment or similar faced-packed customer focused organisation.You’ll have first hand experience in implementing Order Management, Customer Management (Data or Case Management), Corporate Finance or Corporate Learning & Recruitment solutions. Having proven depth and breadth of experience in the Retail landscape, understanding systems and processes. You'll have good judgement, a sense of urgency and will have demonstrated commitment to high standards of ethics, regulatory compliance, customer service and business integrity. A critical thinker, strong problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills, self-motivated and possessing of a high sense of urgency and personal integrity. You’ll have great interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships at all levels and be able to influence.
