We have a brand-new opportunity to start an exciting career through our 18-month Bathroom Installer Apprenticeship. It develops all-important life and trade skills, with professional training and mentoring support.
Once completed, you’ll have a nationally recognised qualification (Level 2 Fitted Furniture) and be equipped with the skills and knowledge to set up your own business. Wickes work with over 3000 installers across the UK and, as your own boss, you’ll be able to flex your workload to find the right balance for you.

During your apprenticeship, you will work alongside a Wickes Approved Installer to fit and install Wickes bathrooms into our customers’ homes. This gives you a great chance to experience the working environment, develop techniques to truly understand your customers and put all of your learning into practice.
Throughout the programme, you will learn how to:
Prepare, transport and handle all materials needed in installing a kitchen or bathroom
Prepare and work in different locations and bathroom specifications
Essential plumbing and tiling skills
Utilise all the required power tools
Carry out rectification work
Build great customer relationships
Set up and build your own career as an installer.

The formal training will be delivered by our approved training provider together with a skills college. This will focus on the technical aspects, behaviour, customer services and setting up your own business. WEBS is a well-established independent training provider, who have been serving the furniture manufacturing sector for more than 50 years.
Throughout your programme you will have a personal training officer, as well as support from your line manager, who can help plan your exciting future.

As an apprentice you will be required to travel to customer's homes, so it will be necessary for you to hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle to travel to work.
