We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Distribution Supervisor role at Crawley outbase. This role will require you to drive performance improvements within the HDC Transport Operations and also will include preparation and delivery of training across distribution functions and project work; to share a Best Practice Approach.
Salary £33,779 + Bonus of up to £75 per week + Benefits

Job Description:
● Develop and maintain a Safe Working Culture
● Develop and maintain engaged culture across the K&B distribution, by ensuring colleague involvement in projects and promoting individual development to deliver leading edge customer satisfaction and >99.9% OTIF performance
● Delivering Fleet and Compliance training and workshops in conjunction with the Operations Managers across all outbase locations . This is to include practical training such as Company Inductions, Vehicle Familiarisation and FTA Systems and Legal compliance training
● Drive performance against plan completing plan vs actual on route planning both pre and post delivery , maximisation and management of driver hours in line with RTD and KPL performance
● Design and development of training material and literature to include Training and Induction, Delivery documentation and handouts inc signoff documents , SOP Design and Risk assessments
● Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures. Ensure Company policies are communicated, applied and embedded across all sites within role remit
● Maintain a compliant transport operation in line with EU and RTD Regulations
● Provide Coaching and development to all members of the distribution team, creating a succession plan for all key areas within the areas of responsibility
What are we looking for:
● Educated to GCSE, O level or equivalent
● National Certificate of Professional Competence in Road Transport Desirable
● Knowledge of two person Home Delivery and its associated challenges
● Minimum 3/5 years experience in a transport/distribution line manager role
● IT Literate (Microsoft Office/Google) Intermediate)
● Comfortable in building an engaged and High performing culture
● Transport Planning together with Fleet and Compliance management experience
● Continuous Improvement and Lean management experience
● Managing Change and Project management experience
● Working knowledge of Transport law inc EU drivers hours and RTD
● Health and Safety
