We are looking for a confident and engaged Charity Partnership Marketing Manager to join our dynamic PR and Marketing team. In this role, you will collaborate with our corporate charity partner, build meaningful relationships with our colleagues at all levels and drive initiatives that bring positive change. Responsibilities:
Charity Partnership Management: You will be the main point of contact for Wickes' charity activities. Build strong relationships, understand our charity partner’s mission, and collaborate to develop impactful initiatives.
Marketing Communication: Working with the charity partner, to write and develop compelling content for digital channels, press releases, point of sale materials, social media posts, website updates, email campaigns, and newsletters. You will be confident and engaging, presenting in front of small and large audiences.
Fundraising Campaigns: Work closely with our charity partner (currently this is The Brain Tumour Charity) to plan, execute, and evaluate engaging fundraising campaigns that align with both Wickes' and the charity's goals. This includes organising events in stores, support centres, fronting and coordinating fundraising activities, and driving employee engagement.
Relationship Building: Proactively engage with our existing charity partner and Wickes Charity Champions to develop innovative approaches to fundraising and events to maximise our impact and reach our fundraising goals.
Organisation: Manage the day-to-day communication, administration, and reporting for all things charity. Plan ahead to ensure that all partnership activities are prepared for and communicated. Activities need to be planned to take into consideration the Wickes calendar of events and business priorities and are also in line with the charities' calendar of events and campaigns.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including, Marketing, PR, Communication, Commercial and Store Operations, to align charity initiatives with Wickes' overall business objectives. Foster a collaborative environment to drive employee engagement and aim for maximum attendance to the charity activities.
Analysis: Monitor and evaluate the impact of charity initiatives, tracking key metrics and preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders. Use data-driven insights to continuously improve and refine the Wickes' charity programme.

Experience of working in a retail environment (desirable)

This role is full time - 37.5 hours per week, with occasional out of hours working on big events. 3 days per week of collaboration to be in our Watford office or out and about in stores/distribution. Flexibility to work from home. Travel to our charity partner’s head office will, at times, be required.
